Dry Creek Valley is a compact valley running northwest from Healdsburg, warm on its benches and cooler on the floor. Old-vine Zinfandel is its signature, alongside Sauvignon Blanc and Bordeaux varieties on the hillsides.

It is the easiest appellation to tour without a long drive: many producers sit within a few miles of one another along Dry Creek Road and West Dry Creek Road.
